hey abby! your place is awesome - I am so impressed with your mix of furnishings and love how warm and cozy it feels! and I am so glad to see that sproost got your style right :) - those three styles work so well together (as evidenced by what you've done with your place!) and they play so well with the architecture of your house...

I like this one better. It's bigger (3 beds instead of 2, and has 2 floors), and it has my #1 criteria which is that the main floor has a back door which opens onto the yard, not onto a deck. I don't think I'd ever use a yard which you had to walk down a crazy steep deck staircase to get down to. I also prefer a view of grass and flowers to one of a wood deck. This house has large glass doors which provide a great view to the yard. 1143 Diamond had a very impressive main living/family/eating area, but I don't think it would be ideal for a family to actually live in. By the way, both of these homes are sold already!

How do you think this one compares with 1143 Diamond, which you mentioned a few posts back?

This is a very nice Eichler which is actually fairly accessible to San Francisco (via the nearby Ferry) or via highway 101. Its a pretty straight shot for commuters and we tend to have a lot of creative, design savvy folks buy these homes in our area (because of the great mid-century modern architecture, schools, outdoors activities) that work in San Francisco.
